The responsibility of Chief Compliance Officers grows each year, as large businesses expand their reach in the global marketplace. Heads of Compliance are responsible for ensuring their teams are properly trained to identify and handle compliance risks, and they must make certain that the third-party suppliers with which their companies work are sufficiently focused on minimizing and managing risks on their end. Moreover, they are asked to do all of this in world with a variety of unique rules and regulations that remain constantly in flux. Fortunately, today’s Compliance executives seem to be up to the challenge.
