Consero’s 2015 Corporate Compliance & Ethics Forum to Assess Compliance in a New Era of Data Privacy

Forum to Be Held 16-18 September in London, England

BETHESDA, MD – (8 September 2015) – Senior executives will convene at The Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London, England 16-18 September for the 2015 Corporate Compliance & Ethics Forum. Consero Group, an international leader in orchestrating high-level, invitation-only events for senior executives, will host the upcoming Forum, which will identify steps to building effective compliance programmes in a new era of data privacy.

“Today’s Chief Compliance Officers are expected more than ever to play a comprehensive role in supporting long-term business growth,” said Paul Mandell, Founder & CEO of Consero. “Consero’s 2015 Corporate Compliance & Ethics Forum in London will address how Chief Compliance Officers can support the CEO and maintain close working relationships with other business leaders, providing an opportunity to discuss strategies to expand compliance skills within their organisations.”

“The Forum will address how to manage compliance with privacy laws in Europe,” said Jessica Druckman, Founder & SVP of Programme Development at Consero.  “Executives will examine essential issues, including what emerging data privacy issues will present challenges over the next few years, and what technological tools will enable privacy compliance programmes to be more effective.”

Additional topics will include:

  • Risk Assessment Methodologies: What’s Tried, What’s True: This session will identify best practices to identify and prioritise compliance risk, how to collaborate with risk-assessing organisations in a company, as well as how to monitor follow-up to assessment findings.
  • Maintaining Compliance and Ethics in Mergers or Acquisitions: In this session, executives will examine how to leverage limited resources in a company growing by acquisition, what can be done to expand/embed a culture of ethics to an acquired company, and how to maintain ethical continuity during mergers.
  • Internal Investigations: A Tooth-to-Tail Approach: This session will review what to consider when preparing to conduct an internal investigation, interview dos and don’ts, and what communication chain should be used during the investigation.
