2010 CORPORATE COUNSEL FORUM ATTENDEE TESTIMONIALS:

“Comparing this format to other traditional conferences, it's second to none. I'm not sure why you would want to do any other conference.”

Jared Shapiro, Director, Business Development
Coverago LLC
SOLUTION PROVIDER, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“Everything that was on the agenda was relevant to me and my business. The attendees were all high level, all directly reporting to senior management or senior partners at law firms, or high level executives from the solution providers.”

Debra Kuper, Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
AGCO Corporation
DELEGATE, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“I've been impressed that the delegates have come to the meeting with me prepared and with a clear interest in talking to me about the services my company offers.

The overall concentration of quality attendees here is superior to just about any other conference I've attended, so whether it's the one-to-one meetings or the person that you're sitting with at lunch, chances are that you'll be with someone you want to speak with.”

Jason Straight, Vice President, Legal Technologies Business Development
Kroll Ontrack
SOLUTION PROVIDER, The Corporate Counsel Forum

"The Corporate Counsel Forum exceeded all my expectations and reminded me that it's fun/good to be a GC."

Kevin Darrenkamp, Vice President & General Counsel
Lockheed Martin Global Training & Logistics
DELEGATE, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“The Solution Providers are not overpopulated here, so when I turn around to talk to someone,
it's not a competitor of mine or someone trying to sell me services.”

David Saltzman, Of Counsel
Squire Sanders
SOLUTION PROVIDER, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“This is a group of people at this senior level that you might find in a conference of 500 people. You might find this exact same group of 50, just mixed in amongst the rest of the attendees.
What Consero has done is pulled out those most senior in-house counsel and put them all together in one place.

With respect to the one-on-one meetings with Solution Providers, to be honest, I expected a little more of the sell. A lot more of the push and typical probing questions favored by fortune tellers and salesmen to find out exactly what you need so that they can tailor their responses to that.
Did not find that here. Instead we had conversations about their business challenges, about our business challenges, about where our business models may complement each other, where their services can help me address what I'm doing. And in every single instance we left with a commitment and an invitation to speak again.”

Sean Radcliffe, Vice President, Chief Legal Counsel -- Corporate & Chief Compliance Officer
IHS, Inc.
DELEGATE, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“Our experience has been outstanding. We have met some really great potential new clients.
I think that the structure of the meetings and the intimacy of the meeting room was really conducive to what we we’re trying to accomplish.

We attend the other trade shows and I refer to them inside our company as a necessary evil.
We get very little accomplished. It's not nearly as intimate as this was.”

Trevor Campion, Chief Executive Officer
Inventus
SOLUTION PROVIDER, The Corporate Counsel Forum

"The Forum was really well run. There were a lot of senior level people with excellent experience."

Ken Veneziano, Vice President, Legal
HD Supply, Inc.
DELEGATE, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“I have been very impressed with the individuals I have met with. They are key decision makers. But even more than that, they actually genuinely appear to be willing to enter into discourse.
And as a solution provider, that is all that you can ask for.

I certainly have had a positive experience with Consero, and I would not hesitate to recommend them again.”

Mark Ross, Vice President, Legal Services
Integreon
SOLUTION PROVIDER, The Corporate Counsel Forum

Consero's Forum is a new and innovative and unique opportunity. The format of this conference is very well done because there is just the right balance between programs, meetings and the meeting times. Now a lot of those programs, it's speed dating, 15 minutes with these people, 15 minutes with those people, and you don't really get a chance to spend a lot of quality time learning about the products, meeting with the service providers and getting a feel for them. Here you get much more time to do that because there are fewer service providers, so you're not being rushed through and the conference is not trying to force you to see 15 or 20 different people. You get to see three, four, five, six people and then there's also the downtime during lunch and dinner when you get an opportunity to talk with those people again.

I think that the best part about the Consero team is that they really work together collaboratively. They're seamless, they really know what they're doing, and . . . they also all come -- for the most part -- from legal backgrounds, and that's extremely important because at other conferences the people who are there at the conference don't mesh and understand the lawyers. They didn't come from a legal background; they're really there just to make the conference happen. Here, the Consero people focus on making sure that the lawyers are getting what the lawyers need because they either were lawyers or paralegals and they work with lawyers. They come out of that legal background so it's really focused on providing excellent content to lawyers from lawyers, and that’s a great idea.”

David Rifkind, Vice President & General Counsel
Buzzi Unicem USA Inc.
DELEGATE, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“One differentiating factor of this Forum compared to others that I've attended is meeting many more Deputy GCs and General Counsel.”

Dan Welch, Senior Vice President, Sales & Operations
Mitratech
SOLUTION PROVIDER, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“I was very excited to see that it was a smaller group of people, all high level people, mostly General Counsel, where you could really interact with them one-on-one or in smaller groups to really gain some knowledge and exchange ideas.

Attending the business meetings with the solution providers is a really unique opportunity.
You're sitting face-to-face with someone whom you actually wanted to meet with because you had the opportunity to select which vendors you wanted to talk to rather than the random cold
call . . . so this was a really helpful way to put a face to a voice and really get to know someone on a personal level rather than just getting the standard sales pitch.”

Ken Strick, Vice President & General Counsel
The Dannon Company
DELEGATE, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“The quality of delegates is absolutely top tier.

One of the best parts of the conference is that we have had a lot of one-on-one time with the delegates who are very keen to speak to us. It’s not that we’re here to make a sales pitch to them; they have asked to speak to us—a really refreshing approach.”

Leah Cooper, Director, Legal Services Outsourcing
CPA Global
SOLUTION PROVIDER, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“The quality of the delegates at the Consero Forum has been fantastic.

Some of the differences between Consero and some of the other providers on the market is their preparation for the meetings and pairing of delegates to myself and the Mitratech staff.
Number two, the quality of the event is far superior.”

Shaheen Javadizadeh, Vice President of Sales
Mitratech
SOLUTION PROVIDER, The Corporate Counsel Forum

"A great gathering bringing together senior counsel to learn about best practices in technology and services to help better manage legal departments.”

Phil Nicholas, Vice President and General Counsel
Amadeus North America
DELEGATE, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“In this economy it is very difficult to convince a law firm to pay to play, but I think there are real business opportunities out of the Forum.

That's what attracted me to come in the first place . . . . Who was coming at a certain level and the fact that they were coming from mostly Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies, so to me the quality of the delegates is top rate.

I worked with my marketing director, who is extremely experienced . . . . Both of us were extremely impressed with the quality, the deadlines that were set, the follow-through, and the professionalism of the team.”

Rebekah Poston, Equity Partner
Squire Sanders
SOLUTION PROVIDER, The Corporate Counsel Forum

“What I would say to a colleague evaluating the Corporate Counsel Forum is make sure you take a look at the depth and the quality of the providers and the presenters that are made available to you. If you’re going to take time to . . . go to an event like this, it needs to be worthwhile, and I found this to be a legitimately worthwhile event.  I didn’t really know what to expect from the KnowledgeBridges and business meetings that I had, but I found them both to be very rewarding. The KnowledgeBridges were . . . extremely impactful and there was a good exchange of ideas between peers.”

Matt Haltom, Vice President & Deputy General Counsel
