Consero is honored to announce that Scott Brown, Chief Intellectual Property Counsel of Weatherford International, will be a member of the Forum Faculty at Consero's IP Management Forum 2012.
Scott Brown received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1976, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa in 1979. He was a Patent Attorney with Amoco Corp. (now BP) at Tulsa Research Center from 1980 to 1991. Following that he was the Patent Counsel for Camco/Schlumberger in Houston from 1991 to 1998. Currently Mr. Brown is the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel with Weatherford International Ltd. In 2001, he became an Adjunct Professor with the University of Houston Law Center teaching Trademarks and Trade Secrets.
