Consero is honored to announce that Lee Kicker has joined the Government IT 2012 faculty.
Lee Kicker is a Sales Executive for Blackboard Connect, a global leader in the mass notification industry. In his role, he manages and supports all Blackboard Connect for Government initiatives in the Southern United States with special focus on Texas and Oklahoma.
Mr. Kicker brings over 10 years of experience providing sales and service to Federal, State, and Local agencies, particularly in the State of Texas. In fact, he has been responsible for over 250 cities and counties purchasing the Blackboard Connect service since September of 2006. Mr. Kicker has a strong knowledge of the needs of local communities, a familiarity with the policies and procedures of municipalities in the region, and a sense of urgency and priorities honed by his years of work within the criminal justice community.
Mr. Kicker graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Louisiana State University (LSU). Immediately after graduation, he became a Police Officer in Dallas, Texas, where he finished his career as an Auto Theft Detective. After 8 years of service on the Dallas force, he switched focus to become an airline pilot for American Eagle, the commuter Airline for American Airlines. Subsequently, Mr. Kicker returned to the Southern United States region and the criminal justice field. He sold GPS tracking devices for sex offenders to all levels of local, state, and federal agencies, just prior to his tenure with Blackboard.
